Manor France Farm, a working agricultural site in Blandford Forum, partnered with Save Energy UK in 2014 to reduce long-term electricity costs and enhance on-site energy independence. With significant energy use tied to daily farming operations, a robust solar PV solution was required to meet their demand while supporting their sustainability goals.
Save Energy UK designed and installed a 224-panel solar PV system across available roof space on the farm. The system was strategically planned to maximise solar generation throughout the day, with high-efficiency panels and durable mounting systems tailored for rural and agricultural environments.
Since installation, the system has delivered reliable, clean energy to support the farm’s electrical needs. The site continues to benefit from significantly reduced electricity bills and long-term energy security. Over ten years on, the system remains fully operational and continues to generate strong returns on the original investment.
