In November 2024, Save Energy UK delivered a smart solar solution for Anker & Rawlings, helping them take a confident step towards reducing operational costs and improving sustainability across their premises.

Saving close to 20 tons of CO2 each year this 141 panel system has an estimated bill saving of £6,778 per year. Payback on investment has been calculated to be 4 years and 3 months.

RECOM solar panels were used on this installation providing 60.630 kW of total power equating to 46,011 kWh per year.

In 2014, RM Froud Transport Ltd sought a reliable and cost-effective solution to reduce electricity costs and support more sustainable business operations. Save Energy UK was appointed to deliver a solar PV installation at their commercial premises in Blandford Forum, Dorset.

In 2014, Cranborne Chase Cider, an independent cider producer based in Blandford Forum, partnered with Save Energy UK to reduce energy costs and align its operations with environmentally responsible practices. With energy intensive production processes on-site, the business required a sustainable solution to manage long-term electricity demands.

Manor France Farm, a working agricultural site in Blandford Forum, partnered with Save Energy UK in 2014 to reduce long-term electricity costs and enhance on-site energy independence. With significant energy use tied to daily farming operations, a robust solar PV solution was required to meet their demand while supporting their sustainability goals.

Here is a commercial installation in Bournemouth supplying them with 33 x 410w Qcell panels partnered up by the top of the range PureStorage II battery system. Estimating £170k savings on their energy bills!

This solar system was installed in 2012 to meet the building’s energy needs at the time. A smaller system size was selected to reflect the site’s low energy usage, resulting in a payback period of approximately 6 years.

In 2011, Save Energy UK partnered with BCP Council to deliver an early-stage solar PV installation across council-owned housing in Poole. The initiative aimed to reduce household energy costs, support residents, and contribute to the council’s environmental commitments.
