Knighton Heath Golf Club has invested in solar energy for its clubhouse, installing a 30kW solar PV system to help reduce its electricity costs and reliance on energy from the grid.
The system is expected to generate approximately 26,963 kWh of clean electricity each year, allowing the clubhouse to use more renewable energy generated on-site and reduce the amount of electricity it needs to purchase from the grid.
With estimated first-year electricity savings of £6,149, the installation provides a long-term opportunity for the golf club to reduce its running costs while making a positive contribution towards a more sustainable future.
The system has been designed to make effective use of the clubhouse’s available space and provide reliable renewable energy for years to come.
