Save Energy UK Proudly Sponsors RNLI Lifeguards’ 25-Year Celebration Concert

Celebrating 25 Years of RNLI Lifeguards Along Dorset’s Coastline

At Save Energy UK, we believe that supporting our local community is just as important as helping homeowners and businesses reduce their energy costs. That’s why we were incredibly proud to sponsor the RNLI Lifeguards’ 25-Year Celebration Concert, a special event recognising a quarter-century of dedication, professionalism and lifesaving service on Dorset’s beaches.

The concert brought together supporters, volunteers, local businesses and members of the community to celebrate the remarkable achievements of RNLI lifeguards across Poole Bay. It was a fitting tribute to the men and women who have spent the last 25 years helping to keep our coastline safe for residents and visitors alike.

As a Dorset-based business that has been serving local communities for more than two decades, we were honoured to play a small part in helping mark such an important milestone.

A Special Celebration for a Remarkable Achievement

The RNLI has become an essential part of life along Dorset’s coastline. Every year, thousands of people enjoy our beautiful beaches, and many do so with confidence thanks to the presence of highly trained RNLI lifeguards.

Over the past 25 years, RNLI lifeguards have helped save lives, prevent incidents and provide vital safety advice to millions of beachgoers visiting Poole Bay and the surrounding coastline. Their work often goes unnoticed until it is needed most, but their impact on our local communities cannot be overstated.

To celebrate this milestone anniversary, a special concert was held at St Ambrose Church in Westbourne. The event was organised by the Dorset Police Male Voice Choir and featured performances from the Marazion Apollo Male Choir from Cornwall, creating a memorable evening that brought people together in support of a fantastic cause.

The atmosphere throughout the evening reflected the respect and appreciation that so many people have for the RNLI and the incredible work its teams carry out every day.

Why We Chose to Support the RNLI

As a family-run business, we have always believed in supporting organisations that make a positive difference in our local communities.

The RNLI’s commitment to protecting lives at sea and on our beaches is something we deeply admire. Whether responding to emergencies, educating beachgoers about water safety or providing reassurance to families enjoying a day by the sea, RNLI lifeguards perform a role that is essential to Dorset’s coastal communities.

When we were given the opportunity to sponsor the RNLI Lifeguards’ 25-Year Celebration Concert, it was an easy decision.

We knew that our sponsorship would help ensure that all ticket sales and funds raised on the evening could go directly towards supporting local RNLI lifeguards in Poole Bay. Every pound raised helps provide the training, equipment and resources needed to continue delivering these vital services.

Supporting organisations such as the RNLI is one way we can give back to the communities that have supported Save Energy UK throughout our journey.

Steve Randall, owner of Save Energy UK, said “The RNLI does an incredible job protecting people on our beaches and at sea, and we’re delighted to support such an important local cause. As we approach our own 21st anniversary in July, it feels fitting to support an organisation that has spent 25 years helping to keep our coastal communities safe.

A Milestone Year for Both Organisations

The RNLI’s 25-year anniversary is particularly meaningful for us because 2026 is also a milestone year for Save Energy UK.

This July, we will celebrate our 21st year in business.

Since being founded in 2005, we have completed more than 5,000 installations for homeowners and businesses across Dorset and the South Coast. Over those years, we have seen tremendous changes in the renewable energy sector, but one thing has remained constant: our commitment to delivering excellent service and supporting the communities we serve.

Reaching 21 years in business would not have been possible without the support of our customers, employees, suppliers and local communities. Sponsoring the RNLI’s anniversary celebrations felt like a fitting way to recognise another organisation that has spent decades making a positive difference.

Looking to the Future

While the concert celebrated the RNLI’s achievements over the past 25 years, it also highlighted the importance of supporting its future.

Demand for RNLI services remains as important as ever. Every year, lifeguards and volunteer crews continue to protect beachgoers, respond to emergencies and provide critical assistance to those in danger.

Continued fundraising and community support will help ensure they have the resources needed to carry on this lifesaving work for many years to come.

We hope the event not only celebrated the RNLI’s achievements but also raised awareness of the ongoing need to support this incredible charity.

Thank You to Everyone Involved

We would like to thank everyone who helped make the RNLI Lifeguards’ 25-Year Celebration Concert such a success.

From the organisers and performers to the volunteers, supporters and attendees, the evening was a wonderful example of what can be achieved when communities come together for a common purpose.

We are incredibly proud to have sponsored the event and to support the RNLI’s ongoing mission to save lives and keep people safe along our coastline.

As we celebrate our own 21st anniversary this year, we look forward to continuing to support local causes, local communities and organisations that make Dorset such a fantastic place to live and work.
