Havant Rugby Club reached out to Save Energy UK with a clear goal: reduce energy bills, embrace clean energy, and futureproof their premises against rising electricity costs. After an in-depth consultation and system design process, we proposed a bespoke solar and battery storage system tailored to the club’s energy profile.

We are proud to highlight the successful installation of 199 high-performance solar panels at Cobham Sports and Social Club. This project has enabled the club to significantly reduce its energy costs while advancing its commitment to sustainability.

Saving close to 20 tons of CO2 each year this 141 panel system has an estimated bill saving of £6,778 per year. Payback on investment has been calculated to be 4 years and 3 months.

RECOM solar panels were used on this installation providing 60.630 kW of total power equating to 46,011 kWh per year.

Here is a commercial installation in Bournemouth supplying them with 33 x 410w Qcell panels partnered up by the top of the range PureStorage II battery system. Estimating £170k savings on their energy bills!

This solar system was installed in 2012 to meet the building’s energy needs at the time. A smaller system size was selected to reflect the site’s low energy usage, resulting in a payback period of approximately 6 years.

Back in 2010, Broadstone Methodist Church made a pioneering move by installing a 10kW solar PV system made up of 43 panels and an inverter. With a 4-year payback period, the system quickly proved to be a smart financial and environmental decision.
